Alice Spencer, PT, DPT

Alice Spencer, PT, DPT, brings a wealth of life experience and a deep passion for physical therapy to our team. Born and raised in northern Maine, Alice spent the last 25 years in southern New Hampshire before her Alaskan adventure began. While completing her clinical rotations during PT school, she fell in love with Alaska’s vibrant landscapes and welcoming communities.

Alice earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2023 and went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Augustana University in 2025. Her journey into the field of physical therapy began in 2019 after undergoing a total knee replacement in her 40s—a transformative experience that inspired her to embark on a second career dedicated to helping others regain their mobility and independence.

Outside of her professional life, Alice enjoys a wide range of hobbies and outdoor pursuits, including biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, martial arts, knitting, sewing, and reading. Since moving to Alaska, she has even taken up flying, embracing new adventures in the skies. Alice is married to Jeff and is proud of her family, which includes her daughter Maddy, daughter-in-law Alex, son Alex, and four beloved cats.

With her unique background, compassionate approach, and zest for life, Alice is committed to supporting her patients on their journeys to recovery and wellness.
