Recent studies and research have shown the significant advantages that virtual reality has for patients suffering from several different pathologies including orthopedic injuries, vestibular dysfunctions, concussions, post-operative care. There are several rehab specific games that allow the user to participate in a different way from traditional therapy interventions while addressing physical, cognitive, and sensory deficits to allow patients successful recoveries.
